Update: March 20, 2004 San Francisco Still Says No To War

March 20, 2003 San Francisco Shutdown

As the blows from the police landed I saw what inhumanity is. In moments one human reduced another to nothing--making two people inhuman.

In those moments I saw that the war had come home, and as I continued to take pictures--desparate for a shot--tears fell from my eyes. I couldn't see and I couldn't breath.

The war has come home.
