             February
              10, 2004 - Bill O'Reilly: Closet Leftist?

            Astoundingly,
Fox New's Bill O'Reilly came very close to apologizing to the American
people as he pledged to do if no weapons of mass destruction were
found in Iraq. The best he could do, though, was state that he was
              now skeptical
              about the Bush administration.
            We here at Basetree
were quite confused by this as we had already reported an apology
by him back in November in "Fox
New's Bill O'Reilly Apologizes." After researching this
apparent discrepancy we realized that we were just, well, making
shit up, though we do stand by our claim that O'Reilly thinks
that noted leftist Noam Chomsky is just swell.
            Now that O'Reilly
has joined the loony left perhaps he should march in the upcoming
              March 20 Bring
the Troops Home Now! demonstration? He could even join our good
              friends at the
Ronald Reagan Home for The Criminally Insane. I think he would
              look great wearing a giant
Rumsfeld mask. He could even play himself!

            November
              20, 2003 - Fox New's Bill O'Reilly Apologizes
            Well known host of the
Fox News program The O'Reilly Factor, Bill
O'Reilly, apologized to the nation during a speech and book
signing in San Francisco on Nov 20, 2003, saying he no longer trusts
              president Bush.
            The apology was prompted
by statements O'Reilly made earlier [continued]
